Inspector Verma is an honest and courageous police officer with a small family comprising of his wife and only child Ram. He raised up Ram with hope that someday he would step in his shoes as an honest police officer. However Ram grew up into a criminal called Raja with theft, dacoit and smuggling to his record.
Geeta, a local social worker encounters Raja, falls for him and persuades him to give-up his criminal activities and become a respectable man. She insists him to assist her in social work.
On the other hand inspector Verma is after a criminal Sundar, whose notoriety is growing day by day. During the course of his investigation, he learns about another criminal Raja and vows to get him too, little know to him is the fact that Raja is his son. Meanwhile Raja who is mending his way encounters another terror named Khan and after a deadly dual, finds a great friend in him.
Shukla, a big business tycoon returns from abroad to marry of his only daughter Geeta to his friend Dy. S. P. Verma’s son, Ram, since this marriage was already fixed-up when Ram & Geeta were children. As expected things gets complicated, as Geeta refuses to marry Ram for she is in love with Raja who in fact is Ram.
