Ultra Media revives Marathi comedy franchise with ‘Punha Ekda Sade Made Teen’ on Ultra Jhakaas

Riding the wave of nostalgia and the growing popularity of sequels in Indian entertainment, Ultra Media and Entertainment is bringing back a Marathi cinema comedy franchise with ‘Punha Ekda Sade Made Teen’, which will begin streaming on Ultra Jhakaas OTT from March 19, 2026. The film revisits the world first introduced in the 2006 Marathi film ‘Sade Made Teen’, a film that continues to enjoy popularity among Marathi audiences.
Presented by Ultra Media and Entertainment and directed by Ankush Chaudhari, the sequel features an ensemble cast led by Ashok Saraf, Makrand Anaspure, Bharat Jadhav, and Siddharth Jadhav. The film also stars Rinku Rajguru, Samruddhi Kelkar, and Sanket Pathak in key roles, bringing together a mix of nostalgia and humour that appeals to both long-time fans and new viewers.
The story once again follows the Kurle brothers, who run a small garage and live by a personal rule: no ladies and no marriage. However, their routine is disrupted when a woman unexpectedly enters their lives, setting off misunderstandings, chaotic situations, and comic twists.
Over the years, ‘Sade Made Teen’ has earned a following for its brand of humour and characters. With ‘Punha Ekda Sade Made Teen’, the makers revive the comedy universe while giving it a contemporary twist, tapping into the trend of sequels and franchise storytelling that continues to resonate with audiences.
