Synopsis
"This is a story of Gauri , a twenty eight year old girl with dark complexion. Her family consist of elder brother, sister in law, and a nephew who is nine year old. Due to her dark color, no one accepts her marriage proposal. NANA , a social worker, who has helped many in their marriage. Nana had brought couple of marriage proposals to Gauri , but she is been rejected due to her color. Also a few were rejected by Gauri. Gauri is now twenty eight year old and this year her mother has passed away. So, Gauri have to marry this year. If not then she would not able to marry for next three years, as per religious practice. There is hurry in searching groom for her. Gauri is a bit annoyed due to her on growing age, her dark complexion and rejections , and due to several silly marriage proposals. Now, Nana bringing her proposals of half blind and divorcee to be groom boys. Gauri is irritated with "KANDA-POHE"; programme. Her sister in law is eagerly waiting for Gauri's marriage. Gauri is so disturbed that she says to her brother that she don't want to marry now. It's enough now. Gauri is a very good singer and excellent in cooking and she used to give tiffin's for school teachers. A new teacher joins this school and Gauri is been asked to make tiffin for him also. Sawant sir likes the taste of Gauri's preparation and he praises her skill of cooking. He come to know that she is still unmarried and reason is her dark complexion… As time passes , Sawant sir and Gauri get well known to each other. Talk become friendly. He tries to boost her confidence by saying how beautiful she is!. Soon, Gauri regains her confidence. Friendly talk develop into love… not happening thing gets happen. Gauri gets married.
